-Is time travel possible? -Since my birth, I have travelled more than 26 years into the future. So I can testify that it is indeed possible. -According to Occam's Razor, the simplest solution is the best. If that is true, why do razor manufacturers keep adding more blades to their shaving tools? -Occam has the patent on simple razors. The other manufacturers make theirs as complicated as possible to avoid paying royalties. -I know Einstein had his theories about General Relativity, but it would probably help set the record straight if we could talk to the general himself. -He said he'd be here in a couple minutes, his time, but he moves pretty fast so it might be a while for us. If he doesn't make it, keep in mind that he's really not that special (relativity). -I heard that pi is irrational, but has anyone ever tried just going up and talking nicely to pi? -I've tried, but pi's arguments always go in circles. -And they go on forever. -Why do I keep forgetting what chloroform smells like? -There are certain chemicals in chloroform that cause some loss of memory, particularly nasal memory. Luckily, you can overcome this by repeated exposure. -I am trying to raise awareness of a medical condition I have that causes me to lose consciousness for 7 to 9 hours a day. It generally manifests at night. How far along is research for a cure? -I suffer from this as well. I also have wild hallucinations during the comatose conditions. -My blood type is A+, yet i'm still failing college -This is because blood is thicker than water. Have your GP replace your blood with some H2O and you won't be so thick anymore. -Can I cleanse my hands by clapping REALLY hard to smash bacteria? -Bacteria only live on the back of your hands so if you're clapping the conventional way you'll only be smashing the fronteria. It's recommended that you clap both your palms and then the back of your hands together for maximum sanitation. -If dinosaurs became extinct many millions of years before humans, how do we know they were called dinosaurs? -As you know, DNA is encoded with letters. Due to recent advances in genetics, we are able to read those letters and understand them. Each animal has its name imprinted on the DNA. We thought we found the name "Dinosaur" on the DNA when the technology was in its infancy, but unfortunately we misread it. We now know that they should be called "Sauronid" (Which was clearly the inspiration for the antagonist of the "Lord of the Rings" movie, which later was written into a book because it was so good). The name "Dinosaur" stuck because scientists had written it down so many times, and they were too lazy to change it. -If humans can grow up to 8 feet, why have I never seen anyone with more than 2? -The remaining feet are only known to grow post-mortem. Thus the term "6 feet under". -How are backwards baseball caps made? -It's actually pretty easy. They just build the factory facing the opposite direction, so that they're backwards when they come out. -If jellyfish are 99% water. If I inject 1% of water into it. Will it turn into water? -You have it mostly correct, but wrong. Most water is actually 99% jellyfish, which is why scientists are raising concerns about the rising jelly fish populations. We are right on the verge of the ocean instantly turning into whole jellyfish, due mostly to global warming and overfishing of dingo's, the jellyfishes natural predator. -If guns don't kill people, people kill people, does that mean that toasters don't toast toast, toast toasts toast? -People use guns to kill other people. Toasters use people to kill bread and make toast. Same principle. -If I set an oven to 350 degrees to cook a pie, will it leave 10 degrees of the pie uncooked? -Actually you're still overcooking it, since 360 degrees is enough to cook two pi. -It's 2012, and we still have no colored pictures of the moon? -Because the light reflected off the moon takes several hundred light years to reflect back to Earth, so we are still photographing light from a period in which color film was not yet invented. -How did they get the Mississippi River to line up EXACTLY to the state border? -The Mississippi river is an artificial river that Missouri made during the great corn war with Illinois in 1912 to help defend their border. -Why don't we put up the money for one 3D printer and then print more 3D printers for everyone? -Because each of the copies, being exact copies, would come out printing other printers. And since the is no evidence of anyone ever successfully executing a "stop print job" command, the entire planet would quickly end up buried in 3D printers. -If having a shower uses less water than having a bath, why don't we simply fill the bath using a shower? -This is actually what you are doing. Due to quantum displacement entanglement theory, the water in the showerhead is both there and not, as one cannot possibly observe every droplet in the stream. Therefore, it uses the same amount of water, but the actual quantity is much lower. -Can gay people make a straight face? -No. Gay means happy, gay men or women cannot be sad. It's almost a curse, they are doomed to be eternally happy and smile rainbows. Homosexuals on the other hand can be straight faced. Even though they are still gay, they are not gays. Confusing I know. Let me try to clear this up. Freddy Mercury, Stephen Fry and Sir Ian McKellen are gays. Dumbledore, Barney Frank and Jane Lynch are homosexuals. As a note - Homosexuals can smile and can keep a straight face. Gays cannot keep a straight face as they are just eternally visually happy. -That's too convoluted, can't you just give us a straight answer? -If gravity exists why aren't I attracted to bigger women? -Healthier people aren't typically effected by the gravitational pull of fat girls, because those who eat nutritiously are composed of neutrinos (that's where the word comes from), and thus are not pulled by atomic gravity. -How do scientists get rocks to answer questions in a geological survey? -Well, geologists generally do a little game they call "Good Geologist, Bad Geologist" in which one geologist pretends to be sympathetic and amicable towards the rock's cause, while the other shouts and sharply criticizes the rock, in an attempt to get it to finally talk. If this method does not work, geologists will often try the more drastic "waterboarding" technique. -If sound can't travel through a vacuum, why is my dirt devil so loud? -Actually I got my PHD in this and sound can't travel in a vacuum, so it avoids the vacuum and runs toward your ears to avoid being stuck. No one not even sound enjoys being stuck. -I just froze myself at absolute zero. I think I'm 0k, should I feel this way? -I hope that you're into orchestral music, because now you're a super conductor. -If I can see the moon, why can I not see Florida? I thought Florida was closer. -I don't believe in Florida. It's just a theory. -What is the best way to study for a pregnancy test? -Cramming 9 months before it's due.
